The entrance ceremony for the 2026 academic year was held on Tuesday, April 7th, at the Etchujima Hall Auditorium on the Etchujima Campus.

　This year, a total of 891 students—473 undergraduate students, 43 students in the Marine Science program, 55 students in the onboard training program, 286 students in the master's program, and 34 students in the doctoral program—have taken their first steps as students of Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.

　Guests were also present, and the event was held in a warm atmosphere that encouraged the students to take a new step forward.
