c) How to use the score

Applicants for the general selection who wish to take an oral examination (exemption from the written academic test *implemented only in the first recruitment entrance examination) must submit a TOEIC score at the time of application.
The Graduate School of Marine Science and Technology will decide whether or not applicants are exempted from the written academic examination based on the comprehensive evaluation of the submitted documents (transcripts, TOEIC score sheets, etc.) and notify the applicant.Applicants who are exempted from the written examination will take the oral examination.
Applicants who are not eligible for exemption from the written academic test will be required to take the academic test.
(In this case, there is no need to re-submit the score report when using the 2 external 手机买足球的app test score combination method and 3 foreign language test exemption.)

2.General selection (scholastic ability test), external 手机买足球的app test score combination method in special selection for foreign students

c) How to use the score

The score from the "Foreign Language (手机买足球的app)" section of the academic aptitude test will be converted according to the method described below, and then compared with the score from the "Foreign Language (手机买足球的app)" written examination. The higher of the two scores will be used for determining whether a candidate passes or fails. Those who wish to use their scores must submit the score report (original) for the examination described below. Furthermore, regardless of whether a score report is submitted, those who did not take the "Foreign Language (手机买足球的app)" written examination will not be eligible to pass.

• TOEIC L&R
  Convert using the following formula.
  Conversion point = (TOEIC score - 220)/6 (truncated after the decimal point)
  However, if the converted score by the formula exceeds 100 points, it will be 100 points, and if it is less than 0 points, it will be 0 points.
• TOEFL iBT
  The graduate school will apply the above formula after converting to the equivalent TOEIC score.
• IELTS
  The graduate school will apply the above formula after converting to the equivalent TOEIC score.

3.Foreign language test exemption for general selection (scholastic achievement test) and special selection for foreign students

TOEIC L&R700点以上、TOEFL iBT（2026年1月20日以前に実施された試験）72点以上、TOEFL iBT（2026年1月21日以降に実施された試験）Overall Score4以上、IELTSオーバーオール?バンド?スコア5.5以上、日本留学試験の日本語（記述除く）300点以上のスコア提出により、「外国語」筆記試験の免除を受けることができます。 （この場合、「外国語」の得点は一律80点（満点は100点）となります。）
